Tent Making Christianity’s Top 5 QCQ Podcasts of 2020. 2020 has come and gone. And this is the last of our “top 5 of 2020” lists. Our quick challenge answer blog posts have been popular with people looking for a quick, concise answer to common objections to Christianity.
Early on, we decided to record these answers in podcast form so people could listen to them on the go. This again turned out to be a popular decision. And after two full years, we have over 100 of these podcasts to listen to! So without further ado, here are the most popular quick challenge question podcasts for 2020.
5. Should Women Be Silent In Church?
Should women be silent in Church? Many Christians get this idea when they read 1 Timothy 2:12-13. It seems like Paul is sending a very direct message. And that message is a command for women not to speak in Church. As our culture struggles with new gender norms, this passage is seen as outdated and misogynistic. But does Paul’s command extend to Christian believers today?
4. Can Women Be Saved Through Child Birth?
Can women be saved through childbirth? As we mentioned in our response to James chapter 2, sometimes the Bible throws us a curve. Salvation by faith alone is seen throughout the New Testament. But there are a few verses we see that seem to offer a different road to salvation. What should we make of these verses?
3. Does James Chapter 2 Teach Salvation By Works?
Does James Chapter 2 teach salvation by works? Reading the Bible can be challenging. Sometimes we find verses that seem to contradict what we see in other spots in the Bible. James chapter 2 seems to be one of these verses. The message contained in it seems to argue that one can be saved by doing good works.
2. Should Christians Use The Enneagram?
Should Christians Use The Enneagram? I have to admit, until very recently I wasn’t aware of the Enneagram. I knew there was some controversy about using it in the Church. But I had never taken the time to dive into it. Now that I have, I’m not comfortable with it. The Enneagram is more popular than ever in Christian circles, but should we use it? We explore the Enneagram in this, our second most popular QCQ Podcast of 2020.
1. Is Believing In Predestination Narcissistic?
Most Christians believe In some sort of predestination or election. But is this just a form of narcissism? Should the fact that God “Chose” us make us feel superior to other people? We obviously struck a nerve with this one, as it became our most popular QCQ Podcast of 2020!
Well, there you have it! The best of 2020 lists are all done for the year. Did your favorites make the list? We’d love to hear about your favorite podcast episode, QCQ or blog post from 2020!
